1.2 - The website www.live-escape.co.uk/salisbury is owned and operated by Live Escape. The content of the pages is for your general use and is subject to change at any time without prior notice.
1.3 - The trademarks and logos displayed on this website are the property of Live Escape. Reproduction of these must be with prior consent of Live Escape only.
1.4 - These terms and conditions and any dispute that arises from these shall be governed by English law.
1.5 - This website may also contain links to other websites. These are provided for your convenience. The operation and content of these websites is outside of Live Escape's control and you use the links at your own risk. Live Escape accept no liability for any damage that may arise from use of these websites.
1.6 - Live Escape is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will collect and store your details without disclosing these to any third party.
1.7 - Live Escape does not permit recording during the partaking of games by use of electronic devices such as cameras, mobile phones, audio devices, etc.
1.8 - Those who have taken part in the games may not disclose any information regarding the games to any other party without consent from Live Escape.
1.9 - Live Escape may contact you after you have made a booking regarding future promotions or developments to do with the games.
1.10 - Live Escape has the right to seek reimbursement for any damage caused to any of the game puzzles or fixtures if damaged for any reason during play.
1.11 - Live Escape has a zero tolerance policy with regards any harassment or violence towards our employees.
1.12 - Only mail in relation to playing of the games is to be sent to the email address provided on the website. No junk mail is to be sent to this address.
1,13 - All guests are responsible for their own safety while taking part in the games. Whilst Live Escape take every measure to ensure the games themselves are safe, we are not responsible for any accidents that occur as a result of any guest's irresponsible or inappropriate behaviour.
1.14 - Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused entry to the games. No refunds will be given.
1.15 - No food, alcohol or drugs may be brought onto Live Escape's premises.
2 - Bookings
2.1 - The person who carries out the booking is named the 'booking person'.
2.2 - The booking person must be at least 16 years old at time of booking.
2.3 - The booking person must take full responsibility for the welfare of any players they have booked for under the age of 16.
2.4 - Once a booking is made, any cancellations, rescheduling or refund requests will only be provided at the discretion of Live Escape who have no obligation to do so. If any changes are requested, this needs to be done at least 48 hours prior to the time of the booked slot either by email or by telephone.
2.5 - If fewer players arrive to play the game than was booked for, no refunds will be provided.
2.6 - If more players arrive to play the game than was booked for, the booking person will need to advise Live Escape in advance of playing the game.
2.7 - A booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by the booking person if they do not arrive within 10 minutes after their booked slot is due to begin. No refunds will be given.
2.8 - The price of a game is as detailed in the booking section of the website during the checkout stage regardless of the price listed elsewhere on the website.
2.9 - Live Escape uses STRIPE as our payment gateway provider for fast and secure payments.
2.10 - Full payment must be made at the time of booking.
3 - Photos
3.1 - We will take a photo of your team together at the end of your session.
3.2 - We will store these photos on our server.
3.3 - We will publish these photos on our social media channels and may also publish these on our website or other promotional materials.
3.4 - If you do not wish for us to publish your photo or you wish us to remove it from any one of our channels please contact us.
3.5 - We reserve the right to use any photos taken by Live Escape for our promotional materials
4 - Your data
Live Escape Salisbury takes the processing of your data very seriously, so if you've trusted us with your personal information we promise to treat it respectfully and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.
We only use your personal information (provided by you at the point of booking your game) to process your payment, make your booking and e-mail you confirmation (and if requested your post game photo). On occasion we use your mobile data to send you directions and contact you if you are late or for special arrangements relating to your booking. We do not use the information you have provided during booking for any other purpose. We do not keep or use you data for marketing purposes, newsletters or updates.
Only the 2 owners of Live Escape Salisbury are the 'data controllers' for the information. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we use customer information. We do not sell or pass your information on to any third parties. Your information is used only to facilitate your game and enhance your escape room experience.
The Information We Collect:
· The non optional information we collect is: your name, number of players, one contact mobile number and one email address. We also ask where you heard about us, so we can understand where our marketing strategy works. We ask for your escape room experience so that we can adjust the set up and frequency of clues during the game to maximise customer experience.
· Additional information we ask for: Your address (to establish where our customer base comes from)
· We use third party payment app 'Stripe' to process payment securely and independently
· Game bookings made via our website and by telephone are processed using our booking app, 'Resova'
How We Use That Information:
We will use this information to do the following:
· secure booking for chosen date and time
· to improve your game experience
· to understand how customers find or select our services
We'll only use customer information where we are allowed to by law e.g. carrying out an agreement we have with the customer, fulfilling a legal obligation, because we have a legitimate business interest or where the customer agrees to it. Customers may request to see copies of the data we hold or request that we delete their data by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Photography After Your Game:
If you check out our Facebook Page then you'll notice that we post photos of our players after their game. If you prefer not to have your photo shared on social media then please let your Gamemaster know when you arrive.
